How the Tattoo Apprenticeship Works

This professional tattoo apprenticeship is designed to take you from complete beginner to confident, industry-ready artist.

You’ll train in a professional tattoo studio three days per week, in small, hands-on sessions that combine technique, theory, and real-world experience. Each class focuses on mastering the fundamentals — understanding needle groupings, controlling your machine, and developing the muscle memory needed for clean lines, smooth shading, and balanced ink saturation.

In the first phase, you’ll practice on synthetic skins to build precision and confidence. As you progress, you’ll move on to real clients, learning complete professional workflow, workstation setup, sterilization routines, and studio hygiene standards.

You’ll also explore the business side of tattooing — how to communicate with clients, price your work fairly, and use social media to grow your portfolio.

Lifelong mentorship ensures you continue receiving support long after the program ends, helping you develop your style, confidence, and career.

Real-Studio Experience & Ongoing Mentorship

Every apprentice trains in a real tattoo environment — not a classroom simulation.
You’ll observe professional tattoo sessions, learn how artists prepare their setups, and practice alongside them under full guidance.
This hands-on approach builds confidence fast and gives you practical experience most online programs can’t provide.

Mentorship doesn’t end after graduation. You’ll continue receiving support, technique advice, and portfolio feedback as you grow in the industry.
Whether you choose to join a studio or work independently, you’ll never be on your own.
